Jon Booth FRSA BMus MMus ARSM

I am passionate about ensemble playing and combine work as a performance coach for singers and instrumentalists in South West London with public performances and teaching.  In 2023, a new solo recital will feature music which explores the passage of time.  I'm looking forward to a new collaboration with mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Humphries, and further performances of the Aeneas Ensemble in London, Venice, Paris and Braunschweig, with violinists Sylvia Eisermann and Julia Dräger.

Jon Booth studied music with Michael J Lambert, then with pianist and writer Peter Hill at the University of Sheffield, graduating with first class honours and receiving the Julian Payne and Blake Prizes, before moving to London and completing a Master's degree in Music Analysis and Theory at King's College.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music.

After many years as organist at St Elizabeth of Portugal Church in Richmond upon Thames and Musician in Residence at the outstanding St Richard Reynolds Catholic College, Twickenham, Jon is a freelance musician and in high demand across London as an accompanist and a performance coach working with with gifted young  singers and string instrumentalists.  He is official accompanist at the Richmond-upon-Thames and Kingston Music Festivals and a founder member of the Aeneas Ensemble.
